View Full Version : Any problems mounting an Iwaki MD20RZT upside down?

I will be setting up my first WC loop inside a P180 and I am quickly realizing that my Iwaki MD20RZT is quite large for my case. One possible solution path involves mounting the pump upside down to the top of the case. Are there any mechanical issues with this plan? Gracias in advance.

I have an md20 mounted sideways and never had an issue with it, dunno bout upside down. but I dont think it would matter, as long as all the air gets out

Laing does not allow mounting the pumps upside down

As long as the INLET of the pump is not facing down, you will be fine.

As long as the INLET of the pump is not facing down, you will be fine.Good to know - this was a conceivable solution that I will now rule out.
