Sorry if there was a thread on this, but I couldn't find it using the search. Anyhow I was wondering which version of EK NB/SB water block will fit my Asus Striker Extreme?

I'll be running 2x8800GTX w/ MCW60. Thanks!

Though it does not say Striker, maybe an email to Eddy can confirm for you.

I use the Swiftech MCW30 for my NB and SB chipsets on the same mobo as yours and love the flexibility and mounting better than the EK blocks. With EK blocks, you have to take the motherboard out to get to the screws.

Hey thanks for the info, those MCW30 are awesome. I was using Martin's water cooling flow rate estimator and comparing different set up with MCW30. I get more GPM with my setup. He didn't have any EK Asus SB/NB to compare but, I may just go with MCW30 thanks!

You won't be sorry with the MCW30s. Might want to get a "raising kit" and "hard mount" just in case there are issues with things on the mobo.

Here are a few pics. Scroll down to see the MCW30s.

Also, for hard mount:

Another vote for the MCW30, not as sexy as an EK block but a damn good performer. I am having Alex (Petra's) order me two EK Asus3a Mosfet blocks in Acetal.

I use the MCX159-CU for the SB as it does not generate the heat of a NB.

With a striker, you will want to cool the Southbridge chip as well. I found it was hotter than the Northbridge. Hard to believe, but the SB would burn your fingers it was so hot while the NB was not that bad.

What's one more block;)

Thanks for the tip Snyxxx. I just ordered 2x MCW30. I'll definitely order some of those hard mounts & raising kit.
