Hey everyone, I'm new here, and would like to ask a question?

I put a turion ML-34 in my abit NF-8,(yep a desktop) and overclocked it to 2.4ghz (265x9).

When I put the Processor in, it defaulted at 1.5 vcore. This is much higher than the 1.325-1.4 it says. My sempron 3000+ i had in it, would default at 1.4.

My temps at said speeds are 34 system, 35 cpu. 41 load (OCCT30min).

Is the 1.5 vcore going to kill my chip?

Thanks

Voltage should be okay since its on 90nm manufacturing. Temps look very low, you could probably bump the speed up a bit more, if the voltage will allow. Dont know what the maximum temp is on a mobile chip though.

Mobile CPUs are known for higher temp tolerance. If I'm not mistaken, desktop S754 90nm CPUs will do it fine up to 70C. Mobile ones should have a +15~20C margin
