I have done some TEC cooling, but have yet to had a Dry Ice run yet. I think I have it down on what I need to do for that. Anyways......

I was wondering about installing a Peltier under the copper tube for the CPU.
This one (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2411/exp-04/437W_Qmax_Peltier.html?tl=g30c105)<
The reason I was thinking about this, is the fact that you can stack TECs for better performance. Soooo, would that even work better if you stacked the Dry Ice setup on top of it?

I have seen you're experience with TEC, and the stuff which got melted :D

I think it would be much better when you don't spend those 50 dollar on a TEC, but on a second hand dryice tube.

Why would you want to buy a 450W TEC setup, with its associated electricity cost, to cool the hot side with something at -78 that will cost you extra to buy?

Just dice it.

I would think that the TEC would actually make the dry ice melt faster. It increases the heat above itself quite a bit doesn't it?

Yes it would, and little gains from it :(

lol that was just one time:)

I was planing on making my own tube, but if I found a nice one I might buy it made instead.

The best one is where you can see the invisible numbers that are on the die burned into the copper plate.

That card is still kicking at 900Mhz in my cousins PC.

Hi, I'm interested in how to hook a TEC up WITH a relay.
I didn't even think of that and i thought i read enough, but after seeing these pic's I BETTER FIND OUT WHY? Could someone give me a crib notes explanation and point me to a good sticky or info article. I need to see if I am doing it right.

thanks in advance for your time and effort!
