A-Data 1600X Vistesta Extreme

Hey guys i got this modules for review / testing, this are the new A-data Vitesta for DDR3, spec is 1600MHz 7-7-7-20 1.75-1.85v 2x1GB ICs are Micron D9 DDR3.

Test bed:

QX9650
Asus Maximus Extreme
2x1GB A-Data 1600X Silverston FM121 cooling them
Nvidia 8800GT
Zippy 600W
246GB Hitachi SataII

As you can see A-Data did a lot of work on the package so far one of the best i've seen.

I was really limited by the CPU, this is the max FSB it did the modules so far are great and will update this once i get a better CPU.

I really like the modules they overclock really good nothing to envy the most expensive kits so far.

Let me know if you want to see any extra tests, maybe CAS 5? remember that i'm FSB limited.

Nice I have the same kit and was about to post some results. I love mine except I am FSB limited around 850 right now.

hmm i kinda like it, i always felt that if i pay a lot of money for high end memory at least it should come in a better package than the crappy plastic that most come with. I know this is a bit bigger than what someone might expect.

I think a woodcase like G.Skills Overclocking versions is much better than this low price package :-D

I think it pwns. Takes long to open it. You need to unroll it, turn the top RAM over from the bottom one and pull them appart. THe more steps before you see your RAM, the more you want it :P Ofcourse for you guys that test stuff it's boring as you go through a lot of stuff. For us that don't upgrade that much it's like a christmas presenet every day of the year (well, when you buy this kit, that is).
