Does anyone now of a firewall and antivirus child protection that is not norton's. My dad was using norton's 2003 and it crashs once it goes though the liveupdate. The programs can be separate but I was hoping to find them cheap but work good. Thanks All

For the cost of an old PII 300, 64M and 2 gig you could go with ClarkConnect (http://www.clarkconnect.org) and SquidGuard for the firewall/child protection. A good support forum as well.

Free anti-virus for personal use, I use AVG (http://www.grisoft.cz) . Includes "live" email blocking, a resident virus checker, and scheduled AV checks.

I was looking at those programs and it looks like they are programs for linux. My dad is using Win98 I think the virus checker will work for win98 is there any others out there that you know of.

Thanks in advance
