Cut a long story short - problems with the IT7.
For some reason im seeing no improvement at all in the car low and high and the lobby high detail tests running at 640 res compared to 1024. The fps is exactly the same +- 5fps. Other tests show normal increases (around 35 - 40%). Not related to dets, tried various versions.
My scores are VERY low for my rig - ive reinstalled many times now so its not a dodgy install. My highest scores are 13800 and 16535 or so. Ive since not been able to duplicate these results and am now consistently getting about 16333 and 13550.
This GF4 also will not overclock at all on this board. It goes up to 355/810 on the KX7 (pelted, non vmodded). On the IT7 it does 325/721. Any more and I get an infinite loop BSOD (same on all dets). It did 320 / 721 stock cooled, 323/721 with an SK6 and hacked p4 retail cooler for ramsinks, and now 325/721 with pelt and mcw40T.
Just for a run down - 173 x 16 (3:4 for 233mhz 2.5/2/2/5/enhance dram). Sandra 2001 says 1686/1710 and 2002 says 3600/3600 or so (didnt really pay much attention to it). All other benches show me getting the proper scores for my system give or take (pcmark is being gay and messing up the hdd test).
Basically its got me beaten. Ive been messing around now for a full week and ive got nowhere. Need a hand here lads.
