hello everyone,

i have an important question about my Q6600. so i was able to get it stable @ 3.904ghz, 1.60v idle, 1.58v load with temps @ 68, 68, 61, 61,. this is prime stable for 8 hours (stopped the test after 8 hours).

my QUestion is : is it safe running this at 1.6v or should i go with 3.825ghz? at 3.825ghz, the voltage is way lower @ 1.49v idle and 1.48v load, with temps at 61, 61, 55, 55. would there be any noticeable performance drop between 3.9ghz and 3.825ghz? or should i just run 3.9ghz @ 1.6v 24/7....

It really depends on what type of cooling you're using. From the temps you're showing it looks like you're either using water or possibly a really good air cooler.

My suggestion would be to set it to 3.8 for daily use. The performance difference between 3.8 and 3.9 is minimal. Definitely not worth the voltage difference.
