This is a cut and paste off a new O/C site SWEAR to god no edits ( no link cause I didn't want a flame war) If this don't make ya laugh nothing will....remember these are MODS talking to each other.

Offline A silight Problem with Overclocking
Ok I have a AMD XP 1800+ chip
It is unlocked
I have ran it @
11.5 x multiplier
146 FSB
This gives me a overclock of an AMD 2000+
But the pc is rather stable, but now and again reeboots after around 4 - 5 hours. I was wondering why this happens
I have PC 2700 Ram, What could i overclock my chip by because im not gonna get 166 if i cannot even get 147 stable enough.
What is your chip set at? so i can try it on mine.

Offline Hrrrmmmmm......sounds like software to me....I used to have random reboots of my server machine while running wireless....it was just because of some patch needed.
That's the only thing that comes to my mind....Although, I'm not an expert on these things....and there's a 99% chance I'm wrong 99% of the time
