Well sitting in my cart is a brushed aluminum U2-UFO Solid top, Swiftech spacing with clear acrylic and e-atx. Just about as barebones as you get.

1.With the hypermodular setup can you flip the mobo tray so that its inverted atx?

2. Clear acrylic....I dont see no acrylic in the pic. Anyone else wish MM would put up some better pictures?

3. I prefer the solid top since I would be sacrificing shelf space using anything larger than my current mid tower case, and I plan on painting the case myself, tho not sure of which color yet.

4. Are the panels interchangeable? Like if I ordered the original top panel, could I use it on the side?

thats my horizon with duality front

top and 2 sides are exactly the same, atleast were on my case. i have original top, but all 3 are the exact same size and screw holes.

the psu cover for the back panel is acrylic, thats all that i got that was acrylic, besides the side and top cover.

I have a custom blue powdercoated MM UFO Horizon / Duality that shipped on Monday, and should be here on Saturday.

I'll take a few pictures when I get it... :)

The "custom" aspect of the case involved these changes:

2nd PSU opening removed, MB tray slid over to the right, and everything powdercoated blue.

Meanwhile, here are some models I've been modifying in Google Sketchup to help design everything.

Original models by Marci. :)

Powder Black. Im kinda bored of it now. Its a nice main rig, which you intend to drop a ton of power. Astetically, i think a moded TJ-07 done nicely would own it.

My next rig wont be a MM platform tho. Xtreme Systems can be taken in xtreme OC or Xtreme Bling.

Malik i think is xtreme Bling.

Man i love some of his works.

Here's my MM ... brushed Aluminum basic Opti-1203 model. I like it a lot ... you have to be very careful with the brushed Al not to scratch it or smudge it, but since you're going to paint it, it's a good choice. If I ordered one now, I'd probably pay the extra to get it anodized.

(Don't mind the "Hello Kitty" look, I was going for bright colors since this was my first attempt at water cooling.)

Actually I dunno. For me it's a toss-up. I *really* like my TJ07, but I don't know if I think it's nicer than a U2-UFO.

I still have some more cable management to do, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. I purchased mine before they came out with the hyper-modularity thing, otherwise I would have set it up to handle 3 radiators internally.

GunslingerOCS,

Great Tri SLI build. I see you prefer to use MCR320s instead of Thermochills. Also, DD blocks instead of EK. Nothing wrong with that at all. Congratulations!

How did you build a horizontal tray on the other side of the Duality ? The tray looks really good and is very useful. Your tips are very much appreciated.

The 8800GTX blocks are EK's, MCR's were much cheaper and more readily available than PA's at the time of the build. The Duality comes with 2 vertical mb trays, I just drilled out the rivets holding it to the back panel, and used some 10" threaded rod to mount it horizontal to have nice clean pump platform, and also hide the PSU, HDD's and wires. I also plan on going back with black automotive touch up paint and cover up all the silver nuts and bolts, also need to cut off excess threaded rod on the bottom of the case.

Nice video Ic3man, what do you mean sleeving the cable?

I know it will obviously sacrifice some air flow, but do you guys think fan filters will be ok for the PA120.x rads?

I'm still thinking on which Yates to get:

D12SL-12
D12SM-12

What do you guys think I'm kind of leaning towards D12SM-12, but I was wondering if D12SL-12 would be sufficient for OCing 3.6 Q6600>NB>MOSFETS in a loop?

Thinking of ordering MM pretty soon.

I'm frequently confused :) I wished that EK blocks were single slot solutions.

I thought I read here that EK was going to make a low profile delrin top that would allow the use of a pci sound card for TRI SLI users.
IanY, why don't you order blocks directly from EK?

I would... if he would make single slot blocks for the G80 GTX/Ultra.

Yeah Guys! I just got a reply from Sam T from Nvidia and he said my Rig should be posted on the site early next week.

But yeah, really, i love the MM cases. I loved all the builds i did in that case. It's awesome. But i also agree with the other guy. You could build your own case and be different :D
