Silverstone TJ10 ESA Edition Available Next Month

Silverstone let us know that Temjin TJ10 ESA Edition is slated to arrive the retail market by end of February (pricing to be updated later). The difference from TJ-10 is that Silverstone has implemented an ESA controller that works with ESA certified motherboard to provide full system monitoring and thermal control. Feel free to check out some details on ESA. (http://www.silverstonetek.com/tech/wh_esa.php)

What is ESA ?? >> http://www.silverstonetek.com/tech/wh_esa.php

Enthusiast System Architecture, or ESA for short, is a new open, royalty‐free industry standard for controlling and monitoring real‐time devices, with goal of providing a much more immersive experience for enthusiasts. By implementing ESA, PC manufacturers and do‐it‐ yourself enthusiasts can now build finely‐ tuned and higher performance PCs than they could have with existing proprietary solutions. ESA is very similar to any another mechanism for the communication between devices. The difference is, ESA enables devices that do not have a mechanism for communication today such as PC power supplies, chassis, and water‐cooling systems.

Essential data, such as temperature, thermal, voltage, and air flow attributes are made available in real‐time and are critical to obtaining maximum PC performance and overclocking. ESA provides a standard way of communicating with these devices. ESA brings these remaining PC components into the same domain of devices that already have means to communicate with the system.

The least they can do is remove the ESA branding on the case. Totally unnessecary... Im guessing the price would be $100 more than the original?

Yeah, it is a nice case but would rather not have the branding.

Nice case in terms of cooling, a lot of 120mm all over the inside, solid construction also... But price should be higher than common, taking into account its ESA capable,..

those esa logos better only be some stupid stickers one can remove, they ruin the look of a otherwise great case.

anyone know if the esa version will replace the regular tj10 or if they will continue to make the standard one?

Its still pretty nice looking but I Sold my Lian Li v2000 for a P182 because i was pissed of the noise + heat of aluminium so i wont come back to this. Altought i think aluminium is nice looking.

I personally think there is no existing case that is really well made. Some are nice looking, but fail in wire management or cooling.

You can if you really own a TJ0x case buy the ESA module (5"1/2 bay). I saw it in pictures at CES 08.

Typo?
It says $369 in article...
If it really was $269 I would scoop one up in a heatbeat, I really want to get into WCing and I have been eying the Silverstone cases recently.

same here i really like my TJ09, the TJ10 is just the TJ09 with a frontdoor + a holder for the extra long gfx cards. Imho its not wirth the extra money. ;)

It's a nice looking case, but I could go without the ESA badges all over.
