Yeah I've known about this for awhile, but never did try it.
It basically opens up a ton of options not originally found on the camera.

Yeah, the one that really interests me is the RAW shooting. I want to compare identical pictures saved in max quality JPEG vs. RAW

Wow this stuff has some neat features!
Ability to save in RAW, RGB Histograms, Motion Detection, better time-lapse photography options, ISO override (apparently down to 50 or so), ability to turn noise reduction on/off, exposure times between 65 sec down to 1/60,000 sec, and tons more! I would definitely check it out!
