Hey guys! I am new to this forum and recently updated my good old AMD X2 3800+. I am excited as this will be my first custom water cooling setup!!! Sorry for my noobness but I want learn from you pros and can't wait until my parts come in. :)

Heres my WC parts list:
D-tek FuZion CPU Water Block /w nozzles
Laing DDC w/ Petra'sTech DDCT-01s Top Combo
Swiftech MCR320-QP-K Triple 120mm Radiator
Swiftech MCRES-Micro
7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Masterkleer General Purpose Clear PVC Tubing

My Components:
Silverstone TJ-03
Intel Q6600 G0 @ vcore 1.20 :D
Abit IP35 Pro
4x1gb OCZ Reaper PC2-6400
400gb Seagate 7200.10
EVGA 8800GT Superclocked
Sound Blaster X-FI XtremeMusic
750w Thermaltake Toughpower

It should be in by the end of next week, I can't wait. I will definately post up pictures when they come in and maybe make a worklog like everyone else :). I am excited as I am pretty luck to have gotten a low voltage Q6600 and can't wait to see what this puppy is capable of. Any suggestions for my setup of how I can improve it? Should I add a T-Line? Also what type of coolant should I use? I tried searching for many mixtures and looking for reviews but they are very broad. I was thinking about just using distilled water + Pentosin G11 + PT Nuke. Is that a good mixture to use for my setup?

Looks awesome! G11 with distilled water and PT Nuke is great, that is what you should use. You have learned well!

Should I add a T-Line to my setup? I seen some people who run both T-Line and reservoir. Does it lower the flow of the setup if you run both? Is there any benefits of having both?

Also for the PT Nuke, it says "Use: Add either 1 drop per liter of coolant (~0.57ppm Copper) or 2 drops per liter of coolant (~1.14ppm Copper)." I don't exactly know what that means, but do I just use 1 drop or 2 drops?

Depends on the size of your loop. I would say 2 or 3 just to be safe.

A t-line when you have a res would only be useful as a drain if you put it right after your pump outlet.

T-Line is only used if you don't want to use a reservoir. Like Polizei said, use a T-Line if you intend to use it as a draining point. Otherwise use a T-Line if you're limited on space inside your case. A T-Line will take longer to bleed air out of your system. (I know since I had a T-Line :D) I swapped to Swiftech Micro-res and the air bleeds out faster. As for 0.57ppm & 1.14ppm it's parts per a million of copper in a liter of coolant or water. It gives you an idea of how much copper is in your coolant by the amount of drops you add. 1 drop = 0.57 ppm, so 2 drops = 1.14, 3 drops = 3 x 0.57 = 1.71 ppm, 4 drops = 2.28 ppm etc...

you could use 1 of Martinm's oversized 1/2 (close to 5/8?) Tee... hehehe.

Only reason to add a T-line is ease of fill and drain, if you install a res too.
A fillport on case top with tube to a barb threaded into the Microres top, can be much easier to fill. Depends a lot on where you place the res. Access etc.

Petras will thread the res lid for you.

Looks like a very powerful pump/waterblock you got there!
No need to add a T and micro-res to the setup. I had both, took the T out of the micro-res.
The m-res is very easy to bleed.

I see, thanks for the quick responses guys, helped me out a lot. I guess I will just use a micro-res instead of both. Can anyone provide me information on how to drain the system using the res.? a link perhaps?

Also anyone know of a any fan controller that can control 3 fans on one controller/knob instead of 1 for each 3 fans for the radiator? I picked up 4 120mm Yate Loon D12SM-12 Case Fan - Black (70.5 CFM, 33 dBA) last night! Thanks guys! you guys are awesome

So any recommendations for fan controllers? I would like one that can control all the fans at once instead of a controller for each of the 3 radiator fans.

Is there such thing as a 4-way splitter so I can connect 3-ways and make it into one 3-pin connector?

Nuke is biocide and G11 is anti-corrosion.

If you like Manual control, buy the Rheobus.
If you like automation, buy the bigNG.
