Impressive. Is the no Alu a sign of things to come?

I thought about doing this to my own blocks.

I had good temps, as I have posted elsewhere, but even with an anticorrosive I lost them both in three months' time. This would make them a viable choice indeed.

Are those standard Aluminium koolance blanking plugs i spy ;)

Looks nice, the gold is a bit garrish for my taste though.

Only thing needed then, is a graphiccard with a nice BPC color :p

Well, no aluminum, nothing to corrode, so if the price is right, and the performance is there, then I'd have no problem with it. But why 24k gold? That has got to make the price go up up up.

Kayin

true, but it makes them rad agnostic too. For those who are duped into Koolance rads, no prob, for those with mainstream stuff, no prob.

Looks very very nice, bling bling lol :D
I don't even want to ask for the price, it must be...hmm...expensive :D

perfection

sure is bling bling :D

I dunno why koolance coats their copper in gold, is makes performance worse and bumps up the price, they could have do it in silver which would have made it a little cheaper while still maintaining great performance

price is reasonable, 95$ is not expensive for such a fully covered copper block, right ?

The fact it looks more at home in this picture:

I'd be willing to try it if it performs well. Koolance did a good move with removing the Alu

VW that is a nice block, do you happen to have internal shots??

Victor, as one of the few people to actually use the last round of blocks, I'm gonna say this to you. If they had done this from the start, I have a feeling that I would have been recommending them from the start. As it is, this is a serious option for my next setup, given the fact that they got the aluminum out, but I have to ask-on the pics I posted, the blanking plugs corroded away as well-were they changed too? Seeing as they listened and changed out that middle layer (as I could do on these here at home and resell/use them) I wonder if they rethought those plugs, as one rusted very badly in place and leaked.

I'm gonna hold off for temps on this, as I wanna see what they are vs a silver EK block, but for the moment I at least for one am happy about it. It looks like an actual contender, as my blocks were true single slot with good performance.

Likely the same as this.

Great!
Koolance seems to have a nice attention for detail, if they can shed this aluminim thing, that's great!

Now if they can just make their D5 top in brass, I'd be all over that!
:D

lol, as I mentioned before, corrotion problem might cause by the liquid coolant u are using.
i have some friends who are using TT/Zalman's liquid cooland and have same prob as u do.
but some others using pure water dont have such problem.

for those nozzles, i'm not sure, but aren't they made by Copper ?
NI plated is only for a good looking.

They said stainless, but they rusted just like plain iron. You can see the one still installed in the block is so rusted I couldn't remove it.
