I currently Use an Apoggee GTX and so far no corrosion problems. I use the recommended 1:9 ratio of G11. And the GTX is bowed. I'm gonna do a small rebuild and for the aesthetic design of the build I'm not going to use G11 because I want a clear fluid. Now I have two choices I can buy the 39.99 copper top to ensure no alu in the loop whatsoever or buy a fuzion for a bit more and sell the GTX. As for the fuzion I can possibly get access to the machine shop in my school and step it if anyone has info on the measurements for stepping. The fuzion road will probably cost me overall a bit more, and I'm not sure how flat my cpu is and I'm don't want to lap it as I Can't afford my cpu dieing on me and me voiding the warranty.

Not sure on the choice, but a good stepping dimension is about 23mm square. Depth only needs to be as much as you want for future lapping.

My first one was only about .5mm which wasn't very much.
