just one question...when you download demos from marketplace what are the download speeds like? my speed is relatively quick (10 down) but downloading a demo is painfully slow.
Never had any problem with downloading, amazingly my 4Mb are always used in full, I mean ALWAYS, I have no idea how they doing it :up:
ohh guess it was all the Holiday traffic. seems ok now. :)

If you have two LAN ports on your PC and your 360 is near your PC, you can share your internet connection (1st port) and plug in your 360 on your 2nd port and then with task manager track what kind of bandwidth is being used on the 2nd port.

Yeah lately Live has been really bad. This is due to the increased traffic. I remember the night Halo 3 was released Live was insanely slow. They need to beef up the servers for the traffic they are getting. They have a huge subscriber basis now.

To be honest, I am surprised that with my wireless adapter, and all the troubles I have had with my high-end D Link DGL-4300 router, I download 1.1GB demos incredibly fast.

The connection during the holidays was quite slow right now it is very fast and quick.

Matchmaking is still a bit quirky, but the speed is back.
Honestly for an M$ product xbox live works surprisingly well.
