I'm thinking on throwing together a mini loop for my graphicscard (ATI HD 3870), and that in a very small HTPC chassi.

Will these parts take care of the heat?

Swift MCW60 block
Black Ice Micro 80mm 2 pass radiator (means twice as thick)

Rexus 80x80x25 3000rpm 34CFM fan

...I also need a good pump for this, the smallest quietest there is :D

There is only room for a 80mm radiator, but I thought the 2 pass radiator would at least equal to one 120mm?
Any thoughts ?

The 3870s run pretty cool. I have one on a loop with an MCW60, DDC, and PA160. Temps never go over 30C loaded. Not even after 4 hours of gaming.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated!

Any hints on the best possible pump that is very small as well?

EDIT: now took a look at the DDC pump, looks like a very good candidate!

How about the Danger Den CPX1?

i think he meant probably, I would get a d-5 style pump, swiftech has them. i had two of the mag pumps die so i would not rercommend them.

Look at you post count. :ROTF:

I would suggest a DDC 3.2 pump for a small form factor with good performance. An after market top will also pick up the performance.
