why isn't my canon s3 is not being recognized in vista?

So i plugged in my camera through usb to upload some photo's...

I'm currently using vista 64bit,anywho i plug it in i get the need to install device driver pop-up click on find drivers...

Comes back saying cannot find drivers etc

any else have this problem??

W/ my sony I had to change the usb mode in the camera settings

[[XC] Lead Head]

I'm guessing you just installed AIM or Windows updates.

You'll need to do this in the following order

Uninstall AIM 6.5
Reboot
Enable UAC in the control panel
Reboot
Install AIM 6.5 again
Reboot

It should work then

Also, is your network connection icon showing disconnected?
