JC, were you using the latest RivaTuner v2 RC11? I know the 10.2 or whatever didn't support the 29.80's.

Dont bother them on a bench partition, you´ll only be dissatisfied and the scores will drop.
Maybe on a gamepartition since the graphics are improved.
Something had to happen since omega released their drivers, it´s logical.

Does anyone know how or have a link telling how to get the lod working on Riva with the 30.30s? I suspect that they are faster but need to use the Lod to get there.:(

only benched 20 points lower for me when compared vs 29.80..they seem stable so far.

Which are the best right now? I heard the 29.40 are OK, I havent played with 3Dmark on a Nvidia card.

I like the 29.42's so far. I haven't seen any improvement from the newer ones at least for my rig.

They run alright for me however the lack of the ability to adjust the lod on them does not make them the best choice for benching.

are they better than the omega's

From my understanding these improve the quality and speed using Anti-Aliasing and the other bells and whistles, things not seen when benchmarking.

Wrote the author of Riva Tuner and he claims that the 30.30's are fully suported. Anyone get the lod to work on these?

29.42 and back, yes. N8, do let us know if you can get the Lod to work on the 30.30's. I do not doubt the author however I have been unable to get them to function on the lod.
