GOW installation??

is it just me.. or does this game take 30 min to install.. its angering me!! i've been waiting forever... and just wanna play!

okay.. just making sure it wasnt me!!

played for about 30 min.. looks way better than the xbox 360 version... finally got rid of all those nasty jagged edges that seemed to squiggle around all the time!! bugged the crap outta me... looks delicious now, and i can bear playing it..

and it runs like butter at my native resolution w/ everything as high as it goes!!! great game

An extremely well scripted game... I don't usually enjoy FPS shooters when they are "more of the same", but GoW definitely went above and beyond.

I really enjoy that you can naturally hide behind obstacles without having to go to too much control trouble to lean out and back in (you lean out only when you click on aim, and when you release aim you automatically lean back into cover). Also, the ability to switch from cover to cover so easily with a single keystroke rocks.

I did get frustrated that sometimes when I'd hit space to get behind cover, I didn't go behind cover and did some kind of roll... so I switched to using the run move which automatically goes behind cover at the first obstacle you run into. Not only that, when you run you're crouching to evade incoming fire!

I'm still playing singleplayer, and it is so good that I'm dreading the end of the game... I want to keep enjoying this as much as I am!

Its well worth it. Great game on 360, and newer content on the PC only means a 5/5 game.

Well yeah the 1680x1050 @ highest settings REALLY is a selling point, its a beautiful game.
