I'm looking at buying a DFI 790FX motherboard to build my new box around. I'll be overclocking and using either a Black Box 5000+, or a 6400+ proc. Down the road, I may go to a later release of Phenom.

I'm looking for top performing memory without throwing needless money away. Two of the options I am considering are:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145043

or, I could save some money and go with this:

Are one, or the other of these my best option, or is there something even better for my situation. Thanks for any help with this.

John

If you are to go down the Phenom road at a later date then the 1066 ram becomes essential. With ram prices low ATM I would definitely go for the 1066.
As far as to which manufacturer I think/presume all 1066 ram uses micron D9 chips.
