2 sets G.SKILL 4GB PC2 8000(need help overclocking) [Archive]

hi everyone i just i 2 kits of the G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)

i cant seem to hit 1,000 im gessing its the ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35

i mite be wrong so if u guys can help me that would be great

ps would buying the abit x38 help at all ?

compatible issue. we sent abit few sample last week. hopfully they can fix it soon

Not to contradict what the G.Skill tech is saying, but I did my review of these sticks on an Abit IP35 Pro with an early beta bios no less. The sticks should work fine in that board. Try these timings: 5-5-4-15-48, and let me know what your sub timings are. Use 2.1v.

Maybe he meant with the 8GB (4x2GB) :)

ya i have 8 gb :) im going to be running my net show real nice with that no drops

and my q6600 is at 3.7 ghz on air :) with a laped Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Heatsink

ok i will post that for you

the ram seems to be runing a bit better i have been burning it in this week

im going to try it with out 1t again

i can go 5-5-4-15-48 (forgot the sub lol should have saved it )
with 8 gb of ram up to 960 :shocked: its hella fast

but i need more power :yepp:
