OMG! I need a software license

Hi All,

Well let's say you have developed a program and you want it to be available for Free( not commercial ).

At the same time you don't want it to be open-source( free but not open-source ).

What software License is the best in this case?

Try one of the Creative Commons (http://creativecommons.org/license/) licenses or just make your own that explicitly allows/disallows certain actions (commercial redistribution, etc)

open-source (free or commercial) = free software
free as in beer but closed-source = freeware

Therefore, just call it freeware in you Help>About, and/or the installer and website, and don't release the source. Job done...
Just wondering, though, why don't you want to open-source it?
