Mod 12v fan to 7v

I know how to do this.......... but its been so long... um... craps...
Dont you just cross the 12v and 7v into 1 line? I think thats it, but let someone confirm before yea try... lol

I believe that you mod the molex of the fan so that instead of 12v and ground, it's 12v and 5v. You can also check out www.7volts.com for more info.

yeah, leave the red wire alone and just plug the yellow wire from your PSU into the black wire on the fan. 12v - 5v = 7v.
