What is the best way to bleed a system with the rad mounted on top? esp if the loop is kinda intertwined into the case and I can't move the rad for the bleeding proccess?

I routed my tubing, mounted my res, etc. so that I could tip the case on its back for bleeding, then the rad barbs are on top and the rad is vertical. Thinking ahead like that when planning your loop can help a lot. It might still work for you. Got pics?

To bleed mine I lay my case on its side and hold the reservoir up out of the case a little. Works great. Helps if you have the outlet barb on the rad the one nearest the open panel so that the air can get out easier.

If its a Thermochill, the bleed screw comes in real handy.

Yeah I wonder about this too.. my rad is mounted on top and my res, pump, etc is all inside... seems very hard to do and I've not mastered it. Everytime I want to drain and refil my system, i just shudder.

Yep my old PC-7B used to be just like that. It's such |3itch it sucks. Especially since my reservoir was at the dead bottom of my loop .

Just be patient and be ready to turn the pump on and off a LOT, as well as tipping the case every which way, silverphoenix

EDIT: Heres a few pix. Damn I miss it :(. Still kicking myself in the ass to this day for selling it.

So if its just a pain in the arse to refill all the time, I'll deal with it. I just wish I could add something to it like a fill port or quick connects to make it easy to drain/refill.

Try to turn the case with the frontpanel downwards.
