This motherboard, the ABIT IP35 Pro, is supposed to have an external CMOS switch, correct? The particular one I received does NOT have this switch. It's physically not there. I have pictures available to confirm this. There is something on the inside of the motherboard but there is no external switch for the back panel. I ordered my board from Newegg using this exact product link.

The real problem is, is that the board will not boot and I get the "CC" error on the internal code display. I have tried reseting the cmos jumper as well as the battery but to no use.

I've contacted Newegg requesting an RMA, but otherwise is there anything I can do? I *think* the problem is that the external cmos thing is set in the wrong position, but without the switch physically being present, I don't know how to change it.

Found the switch... lying under the manual in the box. Must've broken off during shipping. RMA'ing through Newegg...
