View Full Version : anyone get hellgate london yet and get it working with an ati card

soo i just got hellgate london and i installed it as you one would who just got a new game, alas like all things electronic there is something wrong. the screen just flickers constantly when i load into the character creation menu and a black bar scrolls down the screen. i set everything back to stock and its still doing this wonderful trick. anyone got this working with an ati card? apparently this game is not released till the 31'st good job ebgames for sending me it early but boo for ati's drivers for not working with it

My friend was/is in the beta and had no trouble playing it with his X1950.

I wonder if it is checking online for activation and being told not to activate until release.

just a warning to anyone who wants this game, ati dx10 cards will not currently with the latest drivers run hellgate london in dx10 mode, i had to use dx9 mode and even then i cant use aa or af

2600xt worked fine for me pre and post beta.

2900XT works fine here, plays great @ 2560x1600.
do a driver cleaner run, usually does the trick for me if i can't play a game
btw wiggy check your pm box
