Hey guys im new to this site.

I was just wondering if my 3d mark reults were correct. Im not sure if they are.

Here r my specs. :slobber:

P4 2.4b @3.06
Asus P4B533 mb
2x256mb 2100 ram
2 X 40gig 5400rpm hd's
1 x 40gig 7200 hd
Asus v8420 ti 4200 vid card

Now thats out of the way. With 3d mark 2001 se 330 build and direct X 9.0a I can manage 11300 with all defaults and
15100 with defaults at 640x480.

now with 3d mark 03 free version i can manage 1500.
with a cpu score of 550.

All those results r with standard bios settings. No ram has been overclocked and the cpu/mem frequency ratio is set to auto. I can change this to 1:1 and pump out an extra 700 3d marks but the system is not stable and i can also overclock the memory timings a bit and get and extra 200 3d marks.

Im running a p4 spark cpu fan which can manage 50 degress full load and 37 degrees at idle so heat is not a porblem.

If anyone can help me with any ways to increase my score it would be greatly appreciated.

Well thanks for the help.

:)

Scores look OK. For icnreased scores:

format and re-load windows, win 2k is the bets for high ed benchies, loads all drivers,

mobo, graphics
direct x

defrag system
run bench proggie

other than that overclock the graphics card, tighten RAM timings
