Well I finally got around to hooking up my prommy again. I haven't had it hooked up since my old axp chip. The first night I hooked it up I was having trouble getting it past what I was running on air.. but I kept tinkering away.. couple days later and here is what ive got to so far. I havent tried further.. will keep ya updated!

Anything over 3.0 on a Venice is a job well done. :)

Here is a little prime action for people who like prime.

pretty nice! wich temps under load?

Looks like you've got one of those who like some negative temps!

whats kind of clocks do you get with 1.65v vcore?

Good job!

That particular stepping should be able to go as cold as your prommy will take it. PUSH the Vcore....1.4 is nothing for that chip ;) ....

For some reason cpuz stops reporting my vcore after a certain amount. I'm using 1.71. Idle my chip is around -28 idle.. but after 5 hours of prime it got to like 1c. Should I try more vcore than 1.71.. or is that pushing it to much? How much Vcore did you use to get 3.7???

i reckon 1.650V....:D

Hmmm...that's odd. Maybe try an older version of CPU-Z? :p:

1.9?? is that safe for 24/7? :O

Lol...of course not. Just showing that the cpu was able to take that amount of v-core without exploding. Here's the temp @ 1.904:

For 24/7 use, I think that you should limit yourself to ~1.65 - 1.70 MAX. ;)

it looks like you deff have a better cooler than mine. What do you get on 24/7 with it

To be totally honest, I used the cpu only once to set the WR and then never used it again. You should be shooting for 24/7 stability @ ~3.2Ghz granted your mobo will be stable @ 320htt.

Should I mess with the 2 mobo voltage settings any? Dont worry.. I will be trying to get as high as i can max stable.

Which 2 settings? YOu'll definately have to bump your chipset voltage and use a ldt multi of ~3

I dont think i'll be reaching 3.2 stable. doh ;[

I hope I can join the 3200+ Venice 3,7Ghz club one day:D CABHE 0601GPMW on the way, shouldn't bee too bad at least.
