Good day,

I have a problem regarding my IP35 Pro when using Team Xtreem DDR2-1066 modules.

One memory stick runs fine even just 1.8v @ ddr2-800 but the other stick requires 2.2v to be stable at ddr2-800. Memtest also reports errors starting from Test 2 onwards.

Sometimes the system would not post when using these modules.

However, when using a DFI Infinity P965-s, both sticks run without issues @ ddr2-1066 even with only 2.1v.

all timings used were 5-5-5-15 regardless of memory frequency.

Have you tried manually setting all the timings ?
There have been some cases where the IP35 Pro has been setting "erroneous" sub-timings when set to "Auto" resulting in instability & memtest errors.

By the way, you can't compare DDR2-800 @ 1.8V from BIOS on the Abit vs DDR2-1066 @ 2.1V on the DFI.

Hmmm i left the subtimings to Auto. :D

Thanks for the correction.

tested the RAM with my DFI board, mems were stable at ddr2-1100 with only 1.9v

These timings were used on the DFI board.

Will try manually setting the subtimings for the RAM.

By the way, the Abit undervolts the memory by ~0.074V

that's a big one...

thanks.

Tried manually setting the memory subtimings. Rig is under observation. :D
