Hello I have Corsair dominator modules and they work t perfectly at 500Mhz Cas 4 at 2.2V for 9 months .
My pc has not been used for a month or so i was buzzy at school and so and i fired it up again and was looking at the capability's of these modules. but today i have nothing to do so i want to try the 1m 3.6GHz challenge and it didn't booted at 500mhz cas 4.
It will boot if i use 5-4-4 settings.
It wont boot at 4-4-4 settings. I used these settings for 9 months.

The ram was cooled by the dominator air flow fan (Looks nice).
Now i have the coolermaster Geminii and it cools the ram.

I have tried some different voltages but it always worked fine at 2.2V but not anymore are these sticks dying due the voltage are going true them?? (D9 problem?)

Hardware I use:
Asus Commando
E6600
Thermaltake pure power 520W
Geforce 6200LE
Corsair Dominator PC8500
{
XMS8505v1.2
07020794-6
}

Its working again!!!! :D

Today there was a memory divider set in the bios??? I swear i didn't set it when the problem occurred yesterday. yesterday i was running 1:1
but today there was a higher divider set in the bios ???
strange sorry for the inconvenience i will look better next time.

if the divider is 1:1 i can boot at 500Mhz fsb and 500Mhz ram at cas 4 @ 2.2V
If i set the cpu @ 400x9 and a 4:5 divider so the mem wil run at 500Mhz it wil not boot at cas4??? if i change it to cas 5 it wil boot. is this strange asus thingy ore i am missing something? In windows memset can't change the cas 5 to cas 4.

That is strange. It sounds as if it is connected to the chipset strap. But, at least your memory has not failed.
