Well anyone seen the new 4200's, by SUMA, Garnet and ASUS? They're pretty much just 4400's... So you get 4400 scores and overclocks on a 4200, hehe...

Review of the ASUS (http://www.hardwareluxx.de/cgi-bin/linkssql/jump.cgi?ID=4074)

Hmm, it seems that they were able to overclock it more than their leadtek 4400...

ok, for those that havent heard, basically, these are 4200's, on an 8 layer pcb, instead of a 6 layer one, they have 3.3ns memory, and the extra power regulation that the upper end ti's have. And they some clocked at 4400 speeds. So they're 4400's which madonion identifies as 4200's. Quite nice, if you ask me. Too bad the only one that those of us in the U.S. will be able to get easily wil be the ASUS...

is it branded as ti4200 though?
and, how much more expensive than regular ti4200 is it?
and how much cheaper is it than just a ti4400?
and finnaly, is it even worth it??

I have the SUMA one ordered, should be in somewhere next week.
If it's worth it? Well, yes and no, for 3DMark it's handy cause you get Ti4400 scores while being in the Ti4200 category:)
Besides, I could have gotten a Ti4400 for less, but yet I wanted this one, just cause it's like fancy.
I'll let you know how well it OC's, off course :)
