Hello,
I am trying to figure my new machine.
My Ram Speeds on boot and then in CPU-z are different. Shouldnt they be the same??
Bios says 800 mhz and in CPU-z it says 398.4mhz. So does that mean the ram is running at half speed when in Windows??.

DDR = Dual Data Rate = 400*2 = 800MHz

like LIKMARK said ddr2-800 is really 400mhz clockspeed. effective speed is 800mhz, so both are right and your ram is fine.
