Did a quick search, but im kinda in a hurry so dont have time to read through all the threads, hoping for a quick answer here guys. :)

A pal of mine got a DFI ultra-d and 3 twinmos ddr 3200 512mb ram sticks. he needs another one to run some dual channel action.

the question is now, can he use the 3 twinmos and a 4th different stick, like crucial/kingston, or is the ultra-d really picky about that? i've forgot
how it acted on those matters..

if the 4 sticks can run the same speed and timings then i don't see a problem in using them

but tell him that running 4 sticks will force his ram to run @ 2T and it will need a good cpu for the memory controller to overclock the 4 sticks
