Hey so I'm a bit confused and was wondering if any1 could help me out on the matter. Since mac uses intel cpu's and intel chipsets does that mean that its compatible with any sodimm ddr2 666 ram now?

I came across some deal for a pair of 1gb kingston sodimm ddr2 666 sticks but I'm not sure if it'll b compatible on my gf's macbook.

I used Kingston ddr2 667s (I'll find out the model number) in my Mini, and they work great. Not all so-dimms will be compatible. I had some GSkill in my MB, and had issues. If you go to a place like newegg you'll see a separate area for mac memory. i would definitely not assert that ANY ddr2-667 sticks will work in a Mac.
