We've got LOT of thermal grease. So we decide to compare 16 of them.
We decide to use GPU to do the test coz the die is small, easy to smear it smoothly, installing the cooler is also easier than CPU's.

Spec of 16 thermal greases

apply one drop on the middle of the die, and press down the cooler hard to make them spead out.

and here is our test platfrom:

we use Arctic grease remover to clean up the die and the cooler every time we change the grease.

AWESOME.

STICKY ! ! ! !

(Although some of the information flies in the face of every other review I've seen to date......)

are they all applied the same way? cause some tims have different ways to apply, and if not applied that way, it'll screw up the performance.

most TIMs have curing dates. mx-1 drops temps progressively for 2 to 3 weeks.

yup thats true most thermal compounds need burn in time the temps were pretty much the same through some of the popular ones so anything is good enough for me.

we already consider that in our test. all greases are have use the offical break-in time to "cure" the surface. :D
