I cleaned up a copper EK FCB with some salt/vinegar and a tooth brush... it looks flawless after I finish cleaning it but within even an hour it's starting to cleary oxidize again already.

What can I do to stop it from oxidizing? Have I somehow stripped the protective coating that the copper must have had on it? What should I recoat it with to prevent re-oxidization?

This is driving me nuts!

Well the sticky about leak testing says to not use salt and vinegar, because it will cause a chemical reaction. Use just vinegar, maybe you can remove it that way.

yea that happens, after you give it a vinegar bath and polish it

you should flush with distilled water ..
