very pretty!! personally, i'd crop so it follows the rule of thirds, but that's the photo nerd side of me talking.
Strong contrast colours always impress nice one .

well, with the rule of thirds you want the point of view in the lines would meet. you need to draw two vertical lines and two horizontal lines. in this picture, the whole frog could be the item of interest or it can be his eyes (which is usually the center of interest in human pictures.) i'll post a pic up in a minute of how i would change it.

notice the lines... these can be changed and moved obviously, that is just the general rule. i had to move the picture and add space to the canvas to make it the way that i wanted. hope this helps you understand a little better.

Thx everyone.. I was too lazy to do any cropping and I liked the composition as it was so I just left it lol.

that's one of the things about art forms... they have rules but you're allowed to bend them. like i said in the beginging, the pictures are fabulous!!!
