On my website I posted my first how-to Rounded floppy just to let you know.
this review works also on 40 wire ide cables --- for your cdr and dvd drives
they tend to be a little thinner and mold better than bought ones.

or what you can do is get a regular ribbon cable, then wrap it up with electrical tape until it is rounded, then cover with split loom :D
