What about just using a plexi res and observing the fluid flow there?

I'm adding a Laing D5 to a Reserator and i've been told that the flow indicator
that comes with it starts to rattle when you add a more powwerful pump.

I would hate to see what the restriction of these are.... No thanks. How small are the inlets/outlets? 1/4"?

Maybe I'm incorrect, but the ID of the inlet/outlet looks the same while the OD is stair-stepped to accept different hoses.

you can cut the tip to open the water passage and get more flow, that the way it was designed, to be used with different tubes IDs
