Hey guys,

well i have a vapochill ls staying here .. i have a strange problem, if i connect a temp sensor on temp1 for reading evap temp he shows me sensor open circuit an tells me that the evap temp is -60 ( vapochill isnt running... ) if i turn it falls and vapochill stops reading out after -69 and shows -xx. i know that it is normal but why is written on the display open sensor circuit? and why does he reads out such a bull:banana::banana::banana::banana: of temperatures ?

To answer the why does it read crap temps question, for looks basically. They can legitimately say that their probe reads -60 on the evap. Hell they could say it reads -1000 aslong as it actually does read that and doesn't say anywhere that their probe is 100% accurate

As it says in the manual, you shouldnt connect anything to temp1 on the CC board, as it is reserved for the sensors on the side of the evap.
Doing so will result in false readings, as you can see.

unplug your fans see if you get the errors :)

if u still do get errors then its ur sensor..but usually with this error its fan related not what your thi thinking in Temp sensor..just like windows it spits out any error message just to confuse you more...

Dont cut the sensor of as it wont be the problem!!!

open circut error can be fan problems as well and usually is
