AMD chip set problem

hey guys! i'm willing to get a new comp because my old comp was broken on the motherboard...and now there's a problem...i want to know Althon 64 x2 6000+ is equivalent to which product of intel's chips?...the comp i saw was set up with 3gb ram, a64x2 6000+ 3.0ghz~, 400gb hd sataII. so i think it's worthy a deal at the price of 699.99 with $100 coupon

if i were you i would not care which level it is equivalent to Intel's offering. just go ahead. Apps & games running on AMD doesn't looks like it was running on a 386; it is just a few second behind Intel's system.
