$60.00 isn't too bad, and it outperforms a Fuzion in a low-restriction setup.

still unknown for quadcores.

This block is off the MP-05 design layout. So if it performs close to the MP-05, then it will perform terribly on a quadcore.

We need more testing on this thing. Only thing to do is wait for scott to hurry his tests.

I'd be interested to see the 2nd revision of this block to see if they can lessen the restriction and improve their temps!

Actually weirdly enough, I would either buy this block and/or wait for the 3rd revision--no point in waiting for #2 if this is the one you want.

The weird thing is, the MP-05 SP LE performed HORRIBLY on my dual core! Like the same as the Storm - bout 5C worse than fuzion and Apogees.

I doubt we'll see many revisions of this block (if any), based on their product releases/updates thus far, Thermalright is more likely to release a new block all-together.

Besides, when all said and done, the number of changes going into the block for a 'rev. 2' would probably constitute a new model altogether; Thermalright kept this baby in the R&D stage for quite a while ;)

it wont perform terribly on dual/quad cores, just on cpus with multiple dies.
