I had an old rebel XT, sold it to my ex awhile back. Finally got some money so I picked this bad boy up.
also got a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens to go with it (as the stock lens is junk, this one has great performance for the price)
It's been awhile since I was able to take some pictars, exciting stuff.

Tell me how you like it...in the future, I will have an SLR. Just hesitant right now as I have a great all-in-one package at the moment.

Hope ya like it, I held the XTI and the Nikons in the store and I gotta stand by my Pentax but I'm certain you'll have fun anyway.

I'm excited about it
next paycheck i'm going to pick up a wide angle and telephoto lens (assuming I can find a solid bang for your buck in both)
I can't afford the big 1k lenses :(, so I have to stick to a $2-300 budget for each.
