Just thought I would share my recent overclock! Kinda early running Orthos, but so far, seems to be cruising right along......
I'm liquid cooled with a Swiftech Apogee-GTX, using Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
Vcore in the Bios is set at 1.56v, RAM 2.2, NB 1.55, SB 1.2

I didn't know there was a SB voltage of 1.2 ?... at the moment still priming my E6850 723B222 at 3.6ghz stock volts, temps are pretty high though 54°C on both cores (that's even higher than my E6600 lol) but I already ran some benchies at 3.9 Ghz and that was at 1.4250 volts, so let's hope temps go down a bit when the AS5 settles...
Pyton :) Let me see a Screen of 4hrs of orthos with THAT vcore! :) no way in hell! :D
ofcourse i can boot up mine at that vcore too....but after that more is needed!

Infa>>>>> Thank You!!!!! And all the others thank you for the warm fuzzy welcome. I can overclock my CPU over 4.0, but I have not been able to get a 6-8 hour Orthos run completed.
So, that is why I posted the 3.95 clocked, because as early as this morning, it was still running..... Ok, that was over 10 hours stable on Orthos!!
Hopefully after I spend sometime with it, I will be able to find a 4.0 clock that will run Orthos for a stable amount of time..........but until then, I'll be quite happy with 3.95.........

I've got this setting with my Commando..
Its pencil mod at vdroop soo..
8x500 Ram 1:1
vcore - 1.56 real 1.53-54

Vdimm - 2.2 (allways, never go over the spec of 1066 anyway, Crappy 965 divider! :) )
SB 1.55
Chipset 1.1
cas 4-4-4-10 1:1 ratio ...
and this is working great!

Thanks!! Is there a pencil mod, or any mod for that matter to help with the vdroop on this Striker Extreme board?
think so.. check inte the Mod Part of the forum, or search after it...almost any board can be modded.
