i bought 6 tecs on ebay about 6 months ago really cheap.

the size is 40x40mm and they were supposed to run about 30W i think, but i dont know if it was 30W@12v or 15v...

i want to use them to cool the memory of my 4200 wich gets extremely hot even at default 250mhz. i want to use 1 tec on each pair of memory, so ill be using 4 of them. now i only need to know how much energy they will pull to get an adequate psu to feed them.

how could i find out how much they draw? can i do that with a multimeter?

on the cables it says

"e36554 awm styles 1569 105°C or 1007 80°C vw-1 300v
ts awg ll36251 csa tr-64 90°C ft-1 ft-2"

i cant figure out what the temps are supposed to mean, it cant be max temp dif of the two sides, and it cant be max temp the tec can take either right?

if you have a micrometer you can get an idea buy thickness of tec
3.8 75-80 watt
3.4 usallly 80-120
3.2 up 2 172 watt
in the 40x40 size anyway
