View Full Version : Need full bios timing settings for Crucial 6400 C4 BL12864AA804.16FD3
Can anyone tell me the full bios timing settings for Crucial Ballistix
BL2KIT12864AA804.000 (2 x BL12864AA804.16FD3)? I need:
DRAM Voltage
CAS# Latency
RAS# to CAS# Delay
RAS# Precharge
RAS# Active Time
RAS# to RAS# Delay
Row Refresh Cycle Time
Write Recovery Time
Write To Read Delay
Read To Precharge Time
Thanks
John
DRAM Voltage 2.2V
CAS# Latency 4
RAS# to CAS# Delay 4
RAS# Precharge 4
RAS# Active Time 12
RAS# to RAS# Delay 10
Row Refresh Cycle Time 42
Write Recovery Time 6
Write To Read Delay 10
Read To Precharge Time 10
Keep in mind that the above timings generally are assigned by default when selecting manual configuration
for the first time (except for CAS-tRCD-tRP-tRAS and Vdimm, which can be found on the Crucial website (http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=BL2KIT12864AA804)).
You might want to tweak it further, but this is a start. :)
That's fantastic. Thank you.
Can I ask, do these settings change depending on the motherboard? (mine is the Asus P5K-E/WIFI)
Also, do you happen to know the maximum safe voltage when overclocking this RAM?

RAS# to RAS# Delay 10
Row Refresh Cycle Time 42
Write Recovery Time 6
Write To Read Delay 10
Read To Precharge Time 10
Bolded items are mobo-dependant. I run them all @ 3.

Hi
Thanks for the info.
What motherboard are you using?
What speed are you running your RAM at with those timings?
Did you mean 3.42.6.3.3 or 3.3.3.3.3 ?
Thanks

P5k, yeha, i TRY to run 3-42-6-3-3, but the bios doesn't cooperate.
RD600 does tho....and i actually run TRFC on that board @ 25 as well, and no changes i make in P5K bios are reflected in teh real-world.
