don't you love it when you do some kicker numbers on the show like that and people walking around on the displays going: "Is that supposed to be good?" :D

killer score there guys:shocked:

Thanx...:)

@dinos: people sometimes don't even realize, how good a score is...

I heard, when somebody said to my buddy no_name (he was benching 3D06, 24,9 k on the GC), he has 26 k in 3D06 with a C2D and air cooling...

@massman: I sent the validationfiles also to info[at]hwbot[dot]org

Otterauge added a new user to our team...

We didn't expect such a high score, we run this system first time on friday under cascade, saturday the 283k, sunday the 288 k during 1 h shows at ASUS...

Improvements are still possible...

Man how the hell are you guys pullin such friggin enormous scores?? Me and hipro both needed 5.35GHz+ to break 280k, does the quad help a lot in AM3?

Those are some silly AM3 scores, 300k here we come. :D

stummerwinter
08-27-2007, 03:59 AM
@gautam: DDR3...;)

We were really surprised...

300k are not really far away...

We used Quad, because this was the best CPU we had...;)

Running at all 4 cores...

At least, we run this setup only 4 h to 5 h hours before getting this score...

ddr3 is unbelievably fast. That's one hell of a score guys  I think 295k or so could be done easily with the card on LN2. Any plans for that?

Gautam

I don't think it's the DDR3 personally. It's the P35 platform. ;) A Blitz Formula should run just as fast....this is the final straw for me, after 1.5 good years of benching, it's time to kiss i975X good bye.

That's Aquamark :)

I remember a Ti200 benchsession which ended at 17.9k. Next morning I boot, 18.5k :).

@Gautam: not validated, but we saw:

Quad: + 1 % higher Score

DDR3: + 2 % higher Score (with these nice Micron kit from Cellshock)

The GFX wasn't that good, we try will do some more runs later on under better conditions...

Special thanx alos to joe_cool for the support..:)
