ok for a while now i've had a 2x 512 kit of PC3500 Plat. and never really OC'd it.
220mhz 2-3-2-5 tops cuz its in the g/f system.
but i got her a better cpu and need to OC the ram and she wont even run 233 2-3-2-5 at 3.0v let alone 2.9v

everything i've seen indicates this stuff is BH5. but of course i could be wrong.

so what to do guys, do you still warranty this ram with its LIFE TIME warranty ?

Yes, we warranty it, but PC3500 is rated at 217 MHz, which it seems to be doing. PC3700 is 233 MHz, I can't really warranty them just because they won't overclock where you want them.

If you meant PC3700 Platinum, then no they are not BH-5, they are TCCx, so you should be running 2-3-3-8 and even then, if you don't have a board that will allow you to weaken the drive strength, running CAS 2 at 233 isn't easy.

the ram is running on an Ultra-D
and you are correct so im osrry they are 3700 dont know what i was thinking.

its been a long time since i messed around with an ultra-d.

do you still have any of your old settings laying around that would be best for this ram for the ultra-D

thanks ryder!
