I'm just lurking right now. MJ12 is still installed on my machines in case of a red-alert (DEFCON 2) like the DIMES team is having vs the Ruskies whom I am helping.

I've come to the conclusion that we need at least one more big hitter on this team. If we could get just one more person pumping out +-3mil a day, we would have a secured 2nd place daily. Hixie, whats the word with your MONSTER pipe? Still having trouble with the client?

I'm also seeing an issue here. Got MJ12 running on a 8 gig partition on my sossaman machine and it fills it in 4 hours. Have to go empty the data folder and start over..PITA and not sure why it is doing that. Should not fill it up that quick.

Why only on a partition? Who partitions disks anyways (unless you have a linux OS or dual boot)?? I've had to slow down crawling on my machine (in my room) because I only have a 30gig hard drive, and majestic is taking up 11.7gig right now (when it is running full out, it was ~15gig I think).

Yes, major problems with client and IPCOP working with my ISP.
Client hangs after a while, dropping workers down to a 6th of what i set it to be (300).
IPCOP or smoothwall refuses to get an IP from my ISP. Have no idea what to do, and don't have the time to mess with it.
Gave up my own shop and handed it to someone else, wasn't profitable. Got myself a job with another company that is the dealer for NZXT and Mushkin. Now i have no time to mess around with computers again.

I really want to get my pipe maxed out, it's basically the only reason i signed up for this ISP.

Do you know how your IP address gives you your IP? Is it through DHCP or static? If it is statically, then a phone call to your ISP should solve everything. As for the client, I am assuming you only have Asian domains selected? Try adding .com or other ones.

Can you log into your modem/gateway_device? My Speedstream DSL modem's IP for web management is 192.168.0.1. From there I can get the real gateway IP that the modem is using, etc.

Yea, the hanging .coms are because it is a very old load of URLs. Once they get updated the data should be much better. As for your IPCOP problems, that is very odd. Are you using a switch or a crossover cable between the IPCOP machine and your machine?

It's best to load and upload from the same account, the server gets confused, if you bring url's from one account, and then upload them on another.

I think I finished him off with app 35 million for the week+
I'm taking a short break from MJ12 to concentrate on WCG.
I noticed MJ12 pulling 21% on a cpu and thats a bit much.
Not gone forever..;)

We're gearing up for a run at EasyNews and 4 mil a day in WCG and I want it all there, not 21% cpu checking urls..:D
Besides, my clover is out on loan to another team and I need all the muscle I can get right here.

Same here, over a mill with 100 workers, 300 workers = 14,000 in 6 hours..:confused: it's messed up at the moment.

Forgot to mention...only 9 open, with those 100 workers....normally, I have 300 workers, and about 50 to 100 open.

But as things are now, it just can't grab anything with normal settings, they just hang there laughing.

I just let it run..I'm building a Hi tech system tonight..

Yep, cut it down, try 100, with 9 open, it made the workers fetch again for me.

And there are some really really bad domains at the moment, I don't know which they are for you, at your location.

just a day,.and see what happens..We'd need screenies for the guys to work from but I think it would work..
